Very modern, generally good resturant and barfacilities and staff were helpful

Room service was initially poor - room cleaning was not good, but improved considerably later.
Air conditioning did not operate on arrival and it took 2 requests to correct it - as the waether was very hot this was a big frustration. Also had problems with the room safe which was sorted out immediately.
Resturant was closed for an outside group on the first evening, which meant the only dining facilities in the hotel were the bar or room service which for a hotel of this standard was not accceptable - there should resturant provision forguests at ALL times.

The spa facilities were great

I requested a king sized and bed and the configuratoin was 2 singles pushed together. The problem was that either my partner or myself would quiet often fall in between the 2 beds, as they weren´t fixed together.
I have stayed in hotels all over the world and never lost anything. But sad to say every bit of money left in my room was taken by house keeping. This was absolutely shocking to me but seemed to be the normal practise.
