The staff! They were very helpful and always smiled. It made me seem like they were genuinely happy to have me there. The front desk staff was excellent. My favorite was at the hotel restaurant. They quickly remembered me and treated me special. I always got smiles and they were patient with my Russian. My next trip to SPb I will stay at this hotel again. I highly recommend it!

Incredible views over the Neva, decent clean room, surprisingly good breakfast and fantastic value for money. Would definitely recommend this place!
Didn´t like:
Staff weren´t overly friendly and a bit of a walk from the station at least in the winter anyway. Wasn´t a problem when it was mild and above -10c.

The view from our roomy Superior Suite was incredible... we loved it!! The breakfast exceeded my expectations as well (although my expectations weren´t all that high!!).
Didn´t like:
The girls at reception... one of the lasses was playing solitaire for a good ten minutes before ´serving´ us. Honestly, they couldn´t of been less helpful if they´d tried!! Bear in mind we travelled about a fair bit in Russia and didn´t meet anyone like these girls.
