Marco Polo is a modern, comfortable hotel and is conveniently situated in the very center of Vasilievsky Island – at the corner of Sredny prospect and the 12th line. The building itself was constructed in 1874 by the architect F.F.Rudolf. Vasilievsky Island is the largest island on the Neva delta of Saint-Petersburg and close to all of St. Petersburg´s attractions. Its Western side overlooks the Gulf of Finland and it is the sea facade of St Petersburg. The hotel is perfectly located close to the main city´s cultural and business destinations.

The restaurant is very comfortable - a working tiled fireplace from the 19th century perfectly complements the comfortable interior. The restaurant can accommodate up to 45 persons.

The bar is designed in medieval style, with arches and brick vaults that provide a relaxed and democratic atmosphere.

As you exit the Pulkovo-2 terminal you will see a bus stop near the Arrival hall. You can either take bus N13 or one of the minibuses: N3, N13, or N113. They all go to Moskovskaya metro station. Take the metro to Nevsky Prospekt-Gostiny Dvor stop. Get to the green line, take a train to Vasileostrovskaya metro station and go up. You will be on Sredny Prospekt. Turn left onto Sredny Prospekt and walk until the third crossroads. The hotel will be at the corner of Sredny prospekt and the 12th line.
In Marco Polo you can book theatre tickets, ask for an experienced interpreter, have a relaxing massage in your room, visit shops, or rest at sauna. The hotel´s personnel provides you with all information concerning best leisure time in St. Petersburg.
