Overview
Hotel Rus is owned by the city administration of Irkutsk. It is very conveniently located right in the city center. It is a 2+ star hotel - but quite comfortable although also quite Soviet. The staff are very nice and do their best. The rooms all have TV´s and phones. The hotel also has a quite nice restaurant and sauna. When Russian politicians come to Irkutsk, they frequently stay at Rus.
