A nice, large, and very comfortable apartment right in the city center. The apartment is on the second floor of a brick apartment building – that is why it doesn’t get hot here in summer. There are also two large balconies where guests can sit and relax, as the windows look onto a nice, quiet, green courtyard – not typical for the city center. The apartment has 24-hour hot water, a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, satellite TV, and internet access. There are three comfortable couches in the living room, a double bed in the bedroom and a pull out sofa for two in another room designed like a study. The apartment contains everything to make your stay in Moscow as comfortable as possible. |

Kievskaya
Kievskaya is a very prestigious district of Moscow that’s close to the Arbat area and Kutuzovsky Prospect, which is one of the city’s main roads. B. Dorogomilovskaya Street with its many shops, boutiques and restaurants is in the area, as well as one of the largest markets in the Moscow city center. Moreover, Victory Park (devoted to the victory in the 2nd World War), one of the most beautiful parks in the city is very close by too. And, if you want to hit some other part of the city, Kievskaya metro station is conveniently located on the ring line.

| This three room apartment is located near the Kievskaya metro station in a quiet area. The apartment is quite near two big supermarkets: “Azbuka vkusa” and “Dorogomilovo”. There is also a “Pizza Hut”, a Japanese restaurant, “Yolki-palki” (a typical Russian restaurant), and McDonald’s on B. Dorogomilovskaya Street. And if you’d like to buy some fresh fruit, vegetables or dairy products you can go to the Kievskiy market – it’s a five minute walk from the apartment. You can also go by trolley bus, bus or by metro to Victory Park (Park Pobedy), a very nice place to have a walk.
There are a lot of shops and cafes on Kutuzovsky Prospect, which goes straight to Noviy Arbat Street and then to the Kremlin.
It will take you 15 minutes to walk to Old Arbat Street, a famous pedestrian street where you can find a lot of souvenir shops, restaurants, bars and cafes.
The dark blue metro line from Kievskaya station will take you to the city center (Arbatskaya Station) and to the Vernisazh in Izmailovo, the biggest Moscow market of souvenirs and handicrafts (Izmailovskiy Park metro station).
Moscow River is quite near the apartment. You can take a boat trip right to the Vorobyovy Hills where you can enjoy the magnificent panorama of the city (right in front of Moscow State University).
If you use the metro system, you can buy the tickets (special entry cards) at all metro stations. The cards can be for any number of trips. The price goes down slightly the more rides you buy.
If you use public transport like trolley-buses or buses you can by the ticket either from the driver, or at special booths around Moscow, which are orange colored and are called Allo-card. The tickets are a little cheaper at the Allo-card. |
Arriving in Russia
