Overview
When the Grand Hotel Europe reopened after an extensive renovation in December 1991, it had a rich historical tradition to live up to. Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Ivan Turgenev, Sergey Prokofiev and George Bernard Shaw were just a few of the famous personalities to have visited the hotel, which opened its doors in 1875. Few could have foreseen that its modern-day guest list would rival that of the past, as the hotel continues to host visiting royalty, politicians and other celebrity guests from all over the world. Grand Hotel Europe is St. Petersburg´s most famous hotel and one of the highest quality hotels in all of Russia.
Directions
As you exit the Pulkovo-2 terminal you will see a bus stop near the Arrival hall. You can either take bus N13 or one of the minibuses: N3, N13, or N113. They all go to Moskovskaya metro station. Take the metro to Nevsky Prospect-Gostiny Dvor stop. Use the Canal Griboedova exit and go up onto Nevsky Prospect. Take a left turn along Nevsky prospect until the first left turn onto Mikhailovskaya street. Walk along Mikhailovskaya street for a minute until you see the hotel.

The Lobby Bar has been beautifully restored to its turn-of-the-century grandeur. Appetizers, light snacks, drinks to suit any taste. The Reading Room adjoins the main bar and provides an elegant meeting place.
Mezzanine Cafe:
The Mezzanine Cafe is the ideal place for fresh breakfast pastries in the morning, traditional Afternoon Tea, or light snacks anytime. Garden cafe atmosphere under a glass canopy – perfect weather guaranteed!
Restaurant Chopsticks:
Genuine Cantonese and Szechwan specialties. A peaceful environment enhanced by soft music, hand-painted porcelain statuettes and vases, and perrsonnel in authentic Chinese dress.
Restaurant L´Europe:
The restaurant specializes in French and European cuisine. Live music. An interior from the turn of the 19th century lovingly restored. Mere words fall short of describing the culinary experience that awaits you – only a visit will do.
Restaurant Rossi´s:
Italian and Meditterranean specialties. Live lobster and fish tank. Freshly prepared antipasti, home-made pasta and delicious desserts. Relaxed and elegant atmosphere.
Restaurant Sadko´s:
Sadko´s is a casual restaurant on Nevsky Prospect. Some beer or a glass of wine will soon liven up your mood. Modern musical entertainment and special offers every day make Sadko´s – simply one of the best meeting places in St. Petersburg!

For smaller functions, the hotel offers its own self-contained conference center, an exceptionally flexible environment well-suited for meetings, conferences, and presentations for 12 to 80 participants. The Conference Center comprises four rooms – the Dostoevsky, the Tchaikovsky, the Gorky, and the Pushkin – all with large windows providing excellent natural light. Arriving in Russia
