Overview
The Arctica hotel is an economy class hotel with reasonable prices. During Soviet times it mostly accommodated scientists studying the Arctic. It is located not far from the city center, just a 5 minute walk away from Dmitrovskaya metro station, and not that far from major places of interest. There are 102 moderate but cozy rooms.
Directions
From airport Sheremetjevo - I, II to the hotel: From the airport, take bus # 851 to metro station Rechnoy Vokzal. Take the metro to Belorusskaya metro station, then change for the cirkle line to Mayakovskaya metro station and take one station to Novoslobodskaya station. Change the line again and go to Mendeleevskaya station and take two stations till Dmitrovskaya station. Go up - you will be on Butirskaya street. In about 250 metres you will see the hotel.
